Baden sausage salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 4 gherkins
  • 300 g meat sausage
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 2 tsp mustard, sweet
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • possibly lettuce leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the tomatoes, remove the seeds, and cut into thin wedges. Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Thinly slice the cucumbers and the peeled bologna. Rinse the chives, pat them dry, and chop them. Whisk together the vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of water. Whisk in the oil. Add to the salad ingredients as a dressing. Mix and serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
