Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 ml water
  • 10 leaves of Chinese cabbage
  • ½ bunch of spring onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 400 g minced meat
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

For the dough, mix the eggs, flour, and water; season with salt. Knead everything together to form a firm dough and set aside. For the filling, dice the bell peppers and spring onions. Place the minced meat in a pan and fry together with the bell peppers and spring onions. Season to taste. Set aside 10 large Chinese cabbage leaves. Dice the feta. Divide the dough into 2 pieces and roll out thinly. Place the Chinese cabbage leaves on the flatbreads. Spread the minced meat mixture with bell peppers and spring onions on top. Finally, spread the feta cubes over the minced meat mixture. Roll up the flatbreads and cut into pieces approximately 4-5 cm long. Place the cut pieces upright on a baking tray and bake in the lower section of a preheated oven at approximately 180°C (fan oven) for approximately 15-20 minutes, until the dough is browned. Chinese cabbage makes an excellent accompaniment to a salad.
