Baguette with filling

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 baguette(s)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 150g mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp Gouda, grated
  • ½ bunch flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tbsp butter, soft
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the garlic cloves and press them into a bowl. Cut the mozzarella into small cubes and add them to the garlic along with the Gouda cheese. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Finely chop the parsley and add it to the cheese along with the butter. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Cut the baguette in half, but not all the way through (like a pocket), open it up, and add the cheese filling with a knife. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes. Tip: The baguette is very easy to prepare and can be wrapped in aluminum foil in the refrigerator until ready to use, then leave the foil on while baking.
