Baguette with roast beef

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 baguette(s) – rolls
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 8 slice(s) roast beef – cold cuts
  • 4 gherkins
  • ½ box of cress
  • some lettuce leaves, green
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Poor Boys

Cut open the rolls, toast them, and spread each with a tablespoon of mayonnaise. Wash and slice the tomatoes. Trim, wash, and pat dry the lettuce. Cut into strips and arrange on the bottom baguette halves. Place two slices of roast beef and three to four slices of tomato on each of the lettuce-covered rolls. Season with pepper and garnish with cress and a gherkin. Place the top roll halves on top.
