Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g dried tomatoes without oil
  • n. B. water
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 40 g Parmesan
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • ½ baguette(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cover the sun-dried tomatoes with water, bring to a boil, and let stand for 30 minutes. Squeeze the tomatoes and roughly chop. Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves, then puree with the tomatoes and olive oil. Wash, dry, and chop the parsley. Grate the Parmesan cheese. Mix the parsley and Parmesan cheese with the tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Cut the baguette into slices, toast them on both sides under the broiler, and spread with the tomato paste.
