Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream
  • 1 cup oil, e.g. thistle or sunflower
  • 5 eggs, including the yolk
  • 5 eggs, of which the egg whites
  • Sugar or chocolate icing

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

also tastes good with eggnog

Finely sift the powdered sugar and flour and mix with the baking powder, Baileys, oil, and egg yolk to form a smooth batter. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold into the batter. Pour immediately into the greased pan. Bake at approximately 175°C (convection oven) for 40-45 minutes. Can be covered with sugar or chocolate icing. Also delicious with eggnog instead of Baileys.
