Baileys Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g white chocolate coating
  • 300 g whipped cream
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 6 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 25 minutes

Roughly chop the chocolate and couverture coating separately. Melt in a hot water bath. Whisk the cream until stiff peaks form. Beat the eggs until frothy. Gradually stir in the liqueur and half each of the chocolate and couverture coating. Fold in the cream. Ladle the mousse into bowls. Spread the remaining chocolate and couverture coating onto a board and chill. Shave off small curls with a spatula. Decorate the mousse with these curls.
