Baked apple

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized apple
  • some lemon juice
  • 15 g raisins
  • 1 tsp rum, brandy or Calvados
  • 25 g almond flakes
  • 10 g brown sugar
  • some cinnamon
  • 50 g cream
  • 40 g sour cream
  • some cinnamon sugar
  • some fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Apple slices topped with raisins, almonds and cream

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Drizzle the raisins with rum and let them sit for a while. Roast the flaked almonds in a dry pan. Peel, quarter, and core the apples, then cut them into thin slices. Immediately drizzle with lemon juice to prevent them from browning. Grease a small dish and layer the apple slices. Mix the brown sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the apple slices. Then spread the rum-soaked raisins and the toasted flaked almonds on top. Whip the cream until stiff and mix with the sour cream. Sweeten slightly, if desired. Spread over the apple slices and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 30 minutes. Let cool slightly and serve warm in the dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
