Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g butter or margarine
  • 750 ml cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla)
  • 120 g sugar
  • 6 apples
  • Almond(s), flakes
  • e.g. raisins

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

quite rich cake

Mix flour, baking powder, egg, butter, and 100g of sugar into a shortcrust pastry. Pour the pastry into the bottom of a springform pan and raise the sides. Make a pudding with the cream, vanilla sugar, pudding powder, and sugar. Peel and hollow out the apples, filling them with raisins if desired. Place the apples in the shortcrust pastry-lined springform pan and pour the pudding over them. Sprinkle with flaked almonds and bake in the oven at 180°C for 1 hour. Let the cake cool in the pan. Not exactly low in calories, but a real treat.
