Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 large apples
  • 1 jar jelly, apple jelly
  • 1 jar honey
  • 100 g almond(s), peeled
  • 100 g raisins
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, core the apples with a corer, then cut around the core four more times to create the largest hole possible. In a deep dish, combine the butter with the chopped almonds, raisins, sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey, cinnamon, and grated lemon zest. Fill the apples with this mixture and then place them in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of apple jelly over each apple. Place the ovenproof dish in an oven preheated to 120°C and bake for 60 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce.
