Baked baguettes with vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 baguettes
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 large red bell pepper(s), cut into small cubes
  • 200 g ham
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 1 small jar of mushrooms
  • some pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the baguettes lengthwise and halve them. Finely dice the ham and mushrooms and mix with the remaining ingredients. Season with pepper. You can add salt to taste, but this is unnecessary due to the ham and cheese. Spread the cream on the baguettes and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20-30 minutes. Serve with a salad or wine.
