Baked bananas in orange sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 75 g butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 orange(s), untreated
  • 1 lemon(s) or alternatively a lime
  • 4 bananas
  • 3 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Zest the oranges and then squeeze the juice. Squeeze the lemon. Combine the orange juice, orange zest, sugar, and butter. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Halve the bananas and place them in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle with the orange and lemon juice. Mix the desiccated coconut with the cinnamon and sprinkle over the bananas. Bake in the oven at 180°-200°C for approximately 15-20 minutes and serve immediately.
