Baked bananas in tempura flour

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 4 tbsp flour (tempura flour)
  • some water, cold
  • 2 tsp honey
  • e.g. oil for frying
  • possibly sesame

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the flour in a small bowl and then add a little cold water. Stir until smooth and even. Peel the banana and cut it into pieces. The smaller the pieces, the softer the banana will be. Dip the banana in the batter and then fry it in hot oil. Drain briefly (on kitchen paper if necessary) and drizzle with honey. Chinese restaurants often add toasted sesame seeds. A very simple recipe that any banana lover will enjoy. Of course, you can use other fruits as well.
