Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g cheese (Brie), round, or Camembert
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard with herbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • ½ red bell pepper(s), diced
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

with paprika marinade, grilled or oven baked

Mix all ingredients, except the cheese, well. Place the cheese wheel on a deep plate or in a bowl and pierce the cheese with a fork. Spread the marinade over the cheese, but only on top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Preheat the BBQ to medium temperature (not too hot, or the cheese will melt too quickly). Place the cheese on a perforated aluminum grill tray. Heat for about 15 minutes, depending on the temperature, until the cheese begins to curl at the edges or is soft. The center, in particular, must be soft and cooked through. The Brie can also be heated in the oven. Then preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the cheese for about 10-15 minutes. It’s perfect as an aperitif with baguette or crackers. It’s also delicious as a side dish for a barbecue. Or simply with salad and baguette.
