Baked broccoli on toast

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g toast bread
  • Butter, for the mold
  • 300 g broccoli, frozen
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 g cheese, sliced
  • 40 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring water to a boil and cook the broccoli for 1-2 minutes until al dente. In the meantime, grease the baking dish with butter. Place the slices of bread side by side in the baking dish (ideally layered so that they are completely covered). Spread the broccoli evenly among the slices of bread and drizzle with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place the cheese slices on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes until golden brown.
