Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 Camembert(s), 60% fat
- 2 cups sour cream
- ½ jar mayonnaise, as needed
- 2 small onions
- 7 gherkins
- some dressing, ready-made from the bottle (yogurt dressing)
- some milk
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 1 handful of breadcrumbs
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
I coat the Camembert twice with egg and breadcrumbs to prevent it from leaking. Then I fry it in oil until golden brown. For the sauce, I chop the onions and cucumbers fairly finely. I mix the sour cream with the mayonnaise, a little milk and yogurt dressing, and the onions and cucumbers. The sauce is then poured over the fried Camembert. It goes well with French fries, croquettes, or potato wedges.
