Baked eggs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • Butter, for the molds
  • 12 slice(s) Parmesan cheese (thinly sliced or peeled with a potato peeler)
  • 6 eggs
  • 12 tbsp cream
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 tbsp Parmesan, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Brush the egg pans with butter and line them with thin slices of Parmesan cheese. Crack the eggs into the pans (like a fried egg) and pour over 1 tablespoon of seasoned cream. Add 1/4 garlic clove and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at 200°C for 7-8 minutes and serve hot. Serve with white bread. Pay attention to the oven time: the egg white should be firm and the yolk should be runny. Garlic can also be stuck onto a toothpick; it’s easy to remove. Or simply rub the egg pans with garlic.
