Baked ham and asparagus rolls

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 24 stalk(s) asparagus
  • 6 slices of cooked ham
  • ½ package of cream cheese
  • 200 ml cream
  • 600 ml hollandaise sauce
  • ½ bunch chives, cut into rolls
  • ½ bunch parsley, chopped
  • Salt
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Peel the asparagus and cook in salted lemon water until al dente. Pat dry with kitchen towels. Mix the cream cheese with the chives and parsley. Spread the cream cheese over the ham slices. Place 4 asparagus spears on each ham slice and roll them up. Place them side by side in a baking dish. Mix the hollandaise sauce with the cream and pour over the rolls. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes. Serve with a fresh baguette and a leaf salad. Also great as a prep or as an appetizer.
