  • 2 liters of milk
  • 30 eggs

  • 500 g bacon or bratwurst

Festive egg dish

Cut the ham into bite-sized pieces. Grease the baking dish and arrange the ham in it. Beat the eggs with the milk and season with plenty of nutmeg and salt. Cut the bread rolls into cubes, place them over the ham in the baking dish, and spread the egg mixture over them. Or, mix the sliced ​​bread rolls with the egg mixture and place them in the baking dish. Bake in an unheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for at least 1 hour. Homemade potato salad goes best with this dish.
