Baked Kassel salmon

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g Kassel salmon
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • 1 bag of Gouda, sliced
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 500g spaghetti
  • Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Easy to prepare

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Then cut the smoked salmon into thin slices and place them in a pan with foaming butter. Fry the slices until golden brown. Be careful not to fry them too darkly, as this will create nitrosamines. Then arrange the slices side by side in a baking dish. Pour the butter from the pan over the slices, slice the mozzarella, and arrange them over the smoked salmon. Pour the cream over the slices. Spread the Gouda cheese on top and place in the oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, brown the cheese surface of the baking dish using the large grill. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in well-salted, boiling water. Drain the pasta, return it to the pot dotted with butter, fold in the butter, and then sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, if desired. Then add the salmon with the cheese crust from the baking dish and serve with a salad.
