Baked Leberkäse

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 6 slices of Leberkäse
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Garlic granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Crack the eggs into a soup bowl. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic granules, and beat everything together. Place the breadcrumbs in a separate shallow plate. First coat the Leberkäse slices in the egg mixture, then in the breadcrumbs, ensuring each slice is well coated. Place the slices on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes, turning them over halfway through. Tastes absolutely delicious. It goes best with potato salad or mashed potatoes with cucumber salad. Tip: Mix the remaining egg mixture with the remaining breadcrumbs and fry in a pan. It tastes very good, too, and you don’t have to just throw the leftovers away.
