Baked Mettbrötchen

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g minced pork, fresh
  • 2 onions
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 8 rolls, fresh
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • e.g. cheese (Gouda slices)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Spread the pork mince on the bread rolls with a fork. If desired, simply slice the tomatoes, strip the bell peppers, and dice the onions. Depending on your preference, place either the bell pepper/onion or the tomato/onion combination on the previously spread mince rolls. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Tip: If you like, you can also use herbs such as basil, depending on your taste. Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 5-6 minutes. Then place the Gouda, cut into small strips, on the bread rolls and bake until the Gouda is a nice golden yellow. A quick dish that almost everyone will enjoy when time is of the essence.
