Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 4 sprigs of rosemary
- 4 tomatoes, dried, pickled in oil
- 8 slice(s) ham, raw
- e.g. cocktail tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the mozzarella into approximately 1 1/2 cm thick slices, season with salt and pepper. Place a small piece of rosemary and half a sun-dried tomato on each slice. Wrap the ham around the slices. Place the parcels in a greased baking dish. Add cherry tomatoes, if desired. Pick off the remaining rosemary needles and scatter them over the top. Bake in the oven at 250°C for approximately 15-20 minutes. Serve with fresh white bread, which makes a wonderful dip for the resulting sauce. (Reduce the portion size for an appetizer.)
