Baked pasta Bolognese casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (macaroni)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 400 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 ml broth
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 100 g cheese (Gouda)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes until al dente. Drain and let it drain well. Heat the oil in an ovenproof pan and brown the minced meat until crumbly. Finely dice the onion, add it to the meat, and cook. Add the tomato paste, sauté briefly, and deglaze with the stock. Cut the tomatoes into eighths and pick the thyme leaves. Add the pasta, tomatoes, and thyme to the minced meat and mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper. Coarsely grate the cheese and spread it on the pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10 minutes.
