Delicious summer recipe

Drain the peaches, cut into wedges, and place in a baking dish. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Sift the flour and baking powder into a bowl and stir in the sugar. Rub the butter, piece by piece, into the flour mixture with your fingers until fine and crumbly. Then beat the milk and egg with a mixer until smooth. Beat the milk and flour mixture on medium speed until smooth. Drop the batter, using a tablespoon, onto the peaches. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. Tip: This recipe is perfect for summer as a light main course. It can be eaten hot or cold. Plums, apples, pears, or cherries can also be used instead of the peaches.
