Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 350 g potatoes
  • 150 g potatoes, boiled (boiled potatoes)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 40 g yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1,000 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Peel the raw potatoes, grate them, and squeeze the water in a linen cloth. Boil the boiled potatoes, mash them, and add them to the mixture. Pour the boiling milk over the raw potatoes. Add the yeast, which has been previously raised with 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Then add enough flour to form a smooth dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Then pour it into a large loaf pan and bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 220°C. After 10 minutes, reduce the temperature to 180°C.
