Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g quark (cottage cheese)
  • 80 g flour
  • 70 g semolina
  • 70 g butter (soft)
  • ½ tsp salt, just
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 20 plums, approx.
  • 12 plums, approx.
  • 250 ml milk
  • some starch flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Mix the curd cheese, flour, semolina, butter, salt, and egg well and let rest for about 30 minutes. Cut 15-20 pieces from the dough (depending on the size of the plums) and flatten each piece in the well-floured palm of your hand (starch flour). Place a plum in the center, add the dough over it, and shape into dumplings. Place the dumplings next to each other in a well-greased baking dish (approx. 25×14 cm). Place a quartered or half a plum (depending on size) between each dumpling. Pour 1/3 of the milk over the plums and bake at 160°C fan-assisted oven for about 20 minutes. Then pour the remaining milk over the plums and bake for another 20 minutes. The juice from the plum pieces and the milk create a delicious gravy!
