Baked potatoes as a side dish

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 m.-sized potatoes
  • 1 tsp, leveled salt
  • some pepper
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds, whole
  • 1 bunch rosemary
  • 1 tbsp fat for the mold
  • 1 cup of water, about
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel and quarter the potatoes. For particularly large potatoes, cut them into eighths. Place the quarters in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Add paprika, caraway seeds, and rosemary. Pour a little water (a small cup) over the mixture. (Be careful not to add too much water, or the potatoes will become too soft.) Place the baking dish in the oven and bake at high heat (about 200 degrees Celsius) until the potatoes are golden brown, which takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on the type of oven. Tip: For gas stoves, place a bowl/baking dish filled with water on the bottom shelf. This will make the potatoes even crispier. Chicken tastes delicious with it.
