Roasted potatoes with red onions

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 700 g potatoes, small, waxy
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 onions, red
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 1 bunch of sage
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Oven-baked potatoes

Preheat the oven to 230 degrees Celsius. Peel, quarter, wash, and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Peel the onions and garlic cloves. Quarter the onions. Roughly chop the sage. Place the margarine and oil in a baking dish and heat in the oven. When the margarine has melted and is foamy, remove the dish from the oven. Add the potatoes, onions, garlic cloves, and sage to the dish, mix everything well, and then spread the potatoes out in a single layer. Return the dish to the oven and roast the potatoes for about 30 minutes, turning the potato mixture occasionally. Season with salt and pepper after baking.
