Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, mainly waxy
- 3 tbsp flaxseed
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
- salt and pepper
- e.g. olive oil

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Brush the potatoes thoroughly and cut them in half. Mix together the flaxseed, sesame seeds, pepper, and salt and place them in a shallow dish. Dip the moist, cut-side down into the mixture and press down lightly. Brush a baking sheet with olive oil and place the dipped potatoes cut-side down on the baking sheet. Score the surfaces lightly and brush with olive oil. Bake the potatoes for 1 hour. The potatoes are delicious as a side dish with meat or fish, or with herb curd cheese as a main course.
