Baked red culture cheese with radish salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g cheese (red culture cheese, e.g. Chaumes or Rougette)
  • some milk
  • breadcrumbs
  • some butter for frying
  • 1 bunch of radishes
  • 2 slices of toast
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp raspberry vinegar or other fruit vinegar
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seed oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt
  • herb pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Wash the radishes, slice them thinly, and place them in a bowl. Mix all the dressing ingredients well and season to taste, then pour over the radishes. Mix gently and let it sit. Cut the red mold cheese into 4 even slices. Dip the cheese slices in milk and then coat them in breadcrumbs. Fry the breaded cheese slices in a little butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat until golden brown. Toast 2 slices of toast. For one person, arrange 2 slices of cheese on plates with the radish salad and toast.
