Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 2 cloves garlic
- 50 g margarine
- 2 tbsp flour
- ½ tsp pepper
- 700 g sweet potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 150 ml soy milk (soy drink)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 medium-sized onions, cut into rings
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Layer the potato slices and onion rings in a greased baking dish. Start with the potato slices. Then add the onion rings, which are always sprinkled with flour, salt, and pepper. Crushed garlic can be added if desired. The final layer should consist of potato slices. Season the milk with salt and pepper and pour over the potatoes until they are half-covered. Place margarine flakes on top and sprinkle with brown sugar, if desired. Bake at 200°C for 40 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and lightly browned.
