Baked toast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g cream cheese spread
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • 100 g margarine, soft
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. chives, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

enough for about 10 to 12 slices of toast

Place the cream cheese spread in a mixing bowl. Peel the onion and finely dice it along with the cooked ham. Add it to the bowl along with the margarine, egg yolks, spices, and chives. Mix everything well with a mixer. Spread this mixture evenly on the slices of toast and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 15 minutes. Serve immediately. This is a very quick and easy dish, but it tastes delicious and is a hit with everyone at games night or football halftime—at least, that’s how it is for us. Just try it and enjoy.
