Baked turkey fillet with cream cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 turkey fillets, 450 g each, or alternatively chicken breast fillets
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 200 g herb cream cheese (cream level 16% fat)
  • 50 g Gouda, grated
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the turkey fillets/chicken breast fillets, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil and fry the meat for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Remove from the pan and let cool. Combine the cream cheese, salt, pepper, Gouda cheese, egg, and breadcrumbs. Wash and finely chop the herbs and stir into the cheese. Spread the cheese mixture over the turkey fillets. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C/400°F top/bottom heat) for 10 minutes. Remove the meat from the oven, let it rest, slice, and serve. Serve with caramelized carrots, potato croquettes, and hollandaise sauce.
