Ingredients for 4 servings:
- some butter
- 4 veal escalopes
- 1 tsp thyme, dried
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp meat broth, granulated
- 4 slices of breakfast bacon
- 4 slices of cheese (Emmental)
- 100 ml white wine, dry
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Heat the butter in a pan. Brown the schnitzels, season with thyme, salt, and pepper, and remove. Pour the broth into the pan and add a little water. Layer the schnitzels in the pan, placing a slice of bacon and cheese between each one. Pour the wine into the pan. Cover the meat and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted. We like to serve this with white bread and salad.
