Bananas in rum and nut sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 25 g almond(s), blanched and peeled
  • 25 g hazelnuts, chopped
  • 4 bananas
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g sugar, brown
  • 3 tbsp brown rum
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Great dessert

Toast the almonds and hazelnuts in a dry pan until golden brown, then remove from the pan. Peel the bananas and halve them lengthwise. Heat the butter in a pan, add the sugar, and once melted, fry the bananas for about 3 minutes on all sides. Then remove and keep warm. Briefly heat the rum and nuts in the pan and pour the sauce over the bananas. Divide among plates and serve with a spoonful of crème fraîche.
