Baking: Nougat Muffins with White Currants

The perfect baking: nougat muffins with white currants recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Butter
  • 50 g Raw nougat mass
  • 2 piece Free range eggs
  • 250 g Flour type 550
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 250 g Currants white fresh
  • Powdered sugar
  1. Let the butter and nougat melt melt. Add flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and eggs and stir.
  2. Now add the milk and make a creamy dough that is difficult to fall off the spoon.
  3. Add the currants from the stems and stir in carefully.
  4. Line a muffin tin with paper liners and divide the batter into it. (makes 12 pieces)
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 30 minutes.
