Nougat Muffins

The perfect nougat muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Nougat
  • 50 g Flour
  • 50 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 50 g Butter
  • 0,5 Cup Coffee (drink)
  • 50 g Milk chocolate
  1. Place the nougat in the freezer. Roughly chop the chocolate and mix with the flour, hazelnuts and baking powder. Mix the butter, egg, sugar and vanilla sugar into a foamy mixture.
  2. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Roughly chop the nougat and add to the egg mixture with the flour mixture. Add the cold coffee (or milk as an alternative) and stir. In the end, the dough has to fall from the spoon with difficulty. Grease 6 muffin cups and pour in the batter. Bake on the middle rack for 25 minutes.
