Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 5 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 10 ml water
  • 3 tbsp elderflower syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard, hot or mild
  • 7 tbsp cream, alternatively milk
  • 1 tsp herbal salt or vegetable stock powder
  • 3 tbsp herbs
  • 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce or Maggi
  • n. B. Pepper, black

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mix all ingredients together and pour over the salad. Here are a few more ideas: Herbs are a matter of taste. I recommend using and/or: dill, parsley, chives, Italian herbs, salad herbs, and, if you like that sort of thing, a little mint. Other good additions include: nutmeg, paprika, and occasionally I use sweet mustard instead of regular mustard, saving on the honey. If you use honey instead of elderflower syrup, you can simply microwave it in a cup for a few seconds; solid honey will turn into liquid. Don’t run off; it happens very quickly.
