Balsamic Red Wine Plums
The perfect balsamic red wine plums recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 8 piece Plums
- 4 tablespoon Sugar
- 150 ml Red wine
- 150 ml Port wine
- 150 ml Dark balsamic vinegar
preparation
- Let the sugar caramelize in the pan, deglaze with red wine and port wine and simmer until the caramel dissolves – add balsamic vinegar to taste – insert the washed plums and cook covered on a low heat until half-soft
- The remaining balsamic / red wine marinade from the plums can be used to improve the sauce for the confit duck, depending on your taste
