Banana Bread with Almonds

The perfect banana bread with almonds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Bananas
  • 200 g Almonds
  • 35 g Flaxseed crushed
  • 40 g Coconut oil (melted)
  • 3 Eggs (M)
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Baking soda (or baking powder)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla powder (ground vanilla, but vanilla sugar is also possible)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C top and bottom heat. After preparation, the bread is placed in a bread pan lined with baking paper. This can be easily removed afterwards and separated from the baking paper after it has cooled down. Please note: the bread could be defined more as cake. It doesn’t need any cold cuts and it tastes really great! This bread is suitable for approx. 8 – 10 people and is a little more expensive when you buy it for the first time (coconut oil, maple syrup)
  2. Let’s go: mash three bananas in a bowl and then add the stated amount of coconut oil, maple syrup, eggs, cinnamon, baking soda (or baking powder), a pinch of salt and a little vanilla powder. Then stir vigorously.
  3. Then add the almonds and flaxseed and stir well again.
  4. The stirred dough is now placed in the baking pan lined with baking paper (try to avoid large creases). Now halve the fourth banana in half and place it on the dough (press in a little to make it stick).
  5. Finally, the bread is baked in the preheated oven for about 1 hour. This bread is suitable for about 8-10 people. Let it cool down a bit afterwards and bon appétit!
