Banana casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 bananas
  • 6 slices of cooked ham
  • 6 tsp mustard
  • 50 g butter
  • 40 g flour
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, mild
  • 1 tsp broth, instant
  • 50 cl white wine
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the bananas. Spread about 1 teaspoon of mustard on each slice of ham, wrap a banana in it, and place it in an ovenproof casserole dish. Heat 4/5 of the butter in a saucepan, sauté the flour, add the milk, and make a sauce. Season with mustard, paprika, stock, and wine. Let cool slightly. Pour the sauce over the bananas in the casserole dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and place the butter flakes on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20 minutes. Serve with French fries.
