Ingredients
 

  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g White sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 6 Free range eggs
  • 2 tsp Brandy
  • 2 Fresh bananas
  • 200 g Desiccated coconut
  • 200 g Whole milk chocolate shavings
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 350 g Flour
  • 1,5 packet Baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Beat the softened butter in a whisk until frothy. Stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the brandy and milk and stir in. Stir in the eggs. Finely mash the bananas with a fork and stir into the mixture.
  • Add the coconut flakes and the chocolate flakes and stir in. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in two portions. Pour the dough into a prepared Gugelhupf dish and smooth it out.
  • Place the Gugelhupf tin in the oven preheated to 180 degrees (convection) and bake for about 60 minutes. (Chopsticks sample) After the baking time, take it out of the oven and let it cool down in the mold.
