Ingredients
- 300 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 6 Free range eggs
- 3 tsp Rum
- 500 g Flour
- 1,5 packet Baking powder
- 3 tsp Cocoa powder
- 100 g Chocolate shavings dark
- 4 Fresh bananas
- 125 ml Milk
Instructions
- Beat the softened butter in a mixing bowl with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir in two portions. Mix in the eggs one by one.
- Add the rum and stir in. Finally stir in the milk, cocoa and chocolate shavings. Cut the bananas into slightly thicker slices.
- Pour half of the dough into the prepared spring form 26 and smooth it out. Now distribute the banana slices tightly on the dough, place the remaining dough on the bananas and smooth out.
- Now place the cake in the (fan-assisted) oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for approx. 60 - 70 minutes. (Stick sample) After the baking time, take it out of the oven and let it cool down in the tin for 15-20 minutes. Remove the spring form edge, place on a cake rack and let cool down.
