Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 130 ml water
- ½ cube of yeast
- 400 g flour
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cream of tartar baking powder
- 150 g banana(s), ripe, mashed
- 100 g chips (banana chips)
- 20 g butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in the water; I use a hand blender for this. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients and knead well. Cover the dough and let it rest for about 30 minutes, knead again, and place it in a greased loaf pan (about 20 cm). Cover and let it rise for about 20 to 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for another 30 to 40 minutes. Sweet spreads like jam, jelly, or Nutella go best with this bread.
