Banana Oatmeal Applesauce Muffins for Toddlers

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 bananas, very ripe
  • 60 ml rapeseed oil
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 200 g wheat flour type 1050
  • 75 g oat flakes, fine
  • Milk

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (convection oven). Peel the bananas, roughly chop them, and blend them with the oil. Add the applesauce. Combine the flour, baking powder, and oats and stir into the banana puree. If the mixture is very thick, add a little milk if needed. The batter should have the consistency of a firm sponge cake. Divide the batter among 12 baking cups and bake for about 20 minutes. Tip: For marbled muffins, half of the batter can be colored with cocoa. You can also mix in ground almonds or almond butter, as well as raisins, cranberries, small apple pieces, blueberries, or finely chopped chocolate.
