- 350 g banana(s), peeled, preferably ripe
- 350 g milk
- 50 g cornstarch
- ⅛ tsp vanilla pod(s), ground, alternatively vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt

Mash the peeled bananas in a bowl until smooth (or blend them), then mix the cornstarch with about 75 ml of the milk. Now add the remaining ingredients, including the banana puree, to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Once the banana mixture is boiling, whisk in the cornstarch and simmer for about 2 minutes while stirring. Per serving: 167 kcal
