Cini Mini Feast – Compote and Quark Dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 apples
  • 3 bulb(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g quark
  • 250 g vanilla sauce
  • 2 handfuls of cereal (Cini Minis)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel the apples and pears and cut them into pieces. Then cook the fruit pieces in a saucepan with the vanilla sugar and a little water until you have a compote. Don’t forget to stir regularly! If you like it firmer, cook the compote for less time; if you prefer it more mushy, you can let it simmer for longer. Let the compote cool and then divide it between 6 glasses. Place a few Cini Minis on top and then layer the quark on top (I used a mix of low-fat quark and quark). Next, spread the vanilla sauce on top (I used a spoon to ensure the sauce spreads evenly). Chill the glasses or eat straight away. Divide the Cini Minis on top before serving.
