Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g butter or margarine, soft
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 125 g cornstarch
- 125 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- e.g. powdered sugar
- n. B. water
- e.g. lemon juice
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes
Preheat the oven to 180-200°C (top/bottom heat, gas mark 2-3). Place the softened butter in a bowl, add the lemon juice, sugar, eggs, cornstarch, flour, and baking powder, and mix everything thoroughly with a hand mixer on high speed. Pour the batter into a greased 26 cm loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 70-80 minutes. After baking, let the cake cool, then remove from the pan. Make a glaze from powdered sugar, lemon juice, and water and spread it over the cake. Note: For a 26 cm springform pan with a tube base, I used 1.5 times the amount of ingredients.
