Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg chicken wings
- some salt
- 4 tbsp oil
- 100 ml ketchup
- 100 ml honey
- 5 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove(s), crushed
- some Tabasco or Sambal Oelek, as desired
- some pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
perfect for grilling, easy and quick
Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) (160°C fan/convection oven). Mix the oil and salt and brush the chicken wings with it. Then place them on the oven rack in the preheated oven, place a roasting pan or similar underneath, and roast for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the ingredients for the sauce and brush the chicken wings with it. Increase the temperature to 200°C (top/bottom heat) (180°C fan/convection oven). Turn the chicken wings over after 5 minutes, brush with the sauce, and roast for at least another 5 minutes. When the chicken wings are nicely browned, they’re done. They’re also delicious grilled!
